Welcome to spring and another important cosmic month ahead.  Last month’s powerful Pisces Solar Eclipse continues to set the stage for spiritual growth and understanding in April. On April 4th the second momentous eclipse of the year will be a Total Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in the partnership-oriented sign of Libra. This powerful lunation will send significant shock waves throughout all types of relationships, ending some, while at the same time inspiring new ones which are possibly connected to the past.

This Full Moon in Libra angles across the heavens directly opposite to unpredictable Uranus and squares powerful Pluto. Despite the diplomatic side of Libra, this intense alignment really has the potential to create some sparks, in order to counter it; I would strongly suggest paying extra attention to everything and everyone around you. On April 6th we receive flashes of inspiration when the creative Sun conjuncts futuristic Uranus in the fiery sign of Aries. More innovation and fun can be had on April 8th when optimistic Jupiter turns direct in expressive Leo. The benevolent giant has been backtracking since December 2014 asking us to go within to find ways to be more resourceful. Fortunately, its forward motion will now inspire us to seek out more pleasure, playfulness and voice our opinions.

On April 11th friendly Venus enters lighthearted Gemini increasing our desire to interact with others and also express romantic desires towards potential partners. However, mental Mercury enters practical Taurus on April 14th, urging us to be more realistic about whom we spend our time with discussing the simple pleasures of life. On April 16th penetrating Pluto in Capricorn turns retrograde once again, encouraging us to look deep within our current organizations that are going through tremendous transformation.

We start feeling much more motivated on April 18th as the New Moon in take-charge Aries inspires us to push beyond the current boundaries. On April 20th the vibrant Sun enters sensual and methodical Taurus. During this transit we find ourselves wanting to planet roots and our determination and security needs are much stronger. Sun in Taurus is loyal to all that is familiar, and values longevity. The shadow side of Sun in Taurus can be possessiveness and bullheadedness. Finally, on April 30th, talkative Mercury enters his home sign of Gemini, increasing the mental chatter as well as playful self-expression.
