Happy New Year Friends!!
This is the year we have all being waiting for. There is such an anticipation of what is to come or not to come, no doubt about it; it will be an eventful year astrologically. This year will feel like a roller coaster ride as we go up and down the proverbial hills. This month starts off on a high note as bountiful Jupiter in Taurus is in direct motion. The first few weeks will feel as if we are ascending up the first incline.

On the 13th, Venus adds to the anticipation as she enters compassionate and loving Pisces adding more imagination to this months overall experience.
On the 23rd, Mars begins it's almost two and half month hiatus in the perfectionist sign of Virgo. During this Mars retrograde there will be a tendency to react rather than act and we maybe inclined to base our decisions on feelings and experiences from the past.
I feel that 2012 will be the year of empowerment. Fasten your seatbelts because from this point on it's all about accelearted fast-forward speed, risk tasking and breaking through outmoded paradigms. 1/8 -Full Moon in Cancer
The opposition of the Moon in sensitive Cancer to the Sun in dutiful Capricorn exposes two very different ways of seeking security. Subjective feelings of safety and personal comfort are needed with the Moon in maternal Cancer while hardening our defenses to face the challenges of the world is Capricorn's task. Should we be tender or tough? Favorable aspects to the Sun and Moon from Mars in skillful Virgo empower us to find healthy ways to move between these two positions. 1/22 -New Moon in Aquarius
At the New Moon, we are deluged with fresh water of life and wisdom. This is freeing, and Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, keeps each of us, and humanity from stagnating in murky pools, or from where the flow of life has been intentionally dammed up.
The New Moon brings an infusion of these waters, to purify for a FRESH feeling. Frequency watchers like James Gilliland of ECETI
are saying there's an intense purification underway, and a raising of the vibration. He says it has to do with the entire solar system's move into a highly energetic point in space. This upgrade is sparking whole countries awake, with the passion for a better life.

1/07 - Mercury enters Capricorn
Cerebral Mercury in responsible Capricorn is excellent for rational thinking and clear communication. However, the speedy messenger's aspects with boundless Jupiter and spontaneous Uranus today fill our heads with original ideas and spur provocative comments. Once this energy settles down we will quickly put our thoughts in order and find the intellectual discipline needed to concentrate on achieving our ambitions.
1/13- Venus enters Pisces
Venus is exalted in Pisces where the love planet is at its most spiritual and compassionate expression. Idealism, imagination and exquisite sensitivity can enrich our relationships and help us find inspiration through music, art, nature, beauty and spirituality. Yet romantic fantasies and sacrificing ourselves to get affection could lead to disillusion and a sense of martyrdom. Venus in Pisces' gift of unconditional love works best when mixed with a dose of discernment.
1/20 - Sun enters Aquarius
The mid-winter sign of Aquarius reflects the crystalline skies of the season. Cool reason and clear thinking spark original ideas that can reshape communities. A new wave of idealism allows us to recognize the common interests we share, yet honors the uniqueness of each person. The Aquarian dream invites cooperation without losing individual rights, which is a perfect synthesis of the political values of both left and right. It is a model of free human expression and the continuing evolution that allows us to create the future instead of being mired in the past.
1/23 - Mars goes retrograde in Virgo
Mars retrograde in Virgo generates a pervasively hypercritical, perfectionist mood, inclining us toward obsession with minor points, minutiae and overblown trivialities, particularly with regard to healthcare, nutrition and the military. Worry and brooding over more or less trivial concerns will be prevalent. Anxieties particularly develop around the meaning and application of science, pharmaceuticals, chemistry and medicine. Because Mars in Virgo is usually quiet, original and resourceful—and keen to work with others over a wide range of activities—we can expect co-workers and supervisors to be critical toward others and easily dissatisfied with their work during this retrograde phase. This will be especially noticeable with regard to issues from the past where small but key errors have led to major problems in the present. People in positions of responsibility, trust, or authority will need to watch their backs. Subordinates, employees and organised hierarchical associations such as hospital staff, nurses, union labour and the military are likely to experience significant unrest. Mars moves direct on April 13th.
1/27- Mercury enters Aquarius
Mercury in Aquarius unleashes our minds to seek out new, more effective channels of expression. During this transit we are thinkers, inventors, and innovators. Often we are drawn to aviation or to the theoretical sciences. Our intellects are bright and unclouded by emotion (unless other aspects interfere), and we can think rationally about controversial issues.
While considerable originality is likely, stubbornness and often perversity are present and under extreme circumstances it can be hard for the individual to accept that they are being difficult.
12/23- Year of the Yang Water Dragon (Chinese Astrology)
What kind of year will 2012 be? Many expect 2012 to bring about the end of the world, perhaps because they mistakenly think of Mayan or Hindu cosmologies as linear rather than cyclical. From a Feng Shui standpoint 2012, the year of the Yang Water Dragon, brings many possibilities for good fortune.
Most people know that water covers 2/3 of our planet & comprises 75% of our bodies; we simply cannot live without it. You
begin the year in fine form, Aries, with an attitude that says you're

much more settled than you were in December. You begin 2012 with lucky
Jupiter in your sign, and while you're no stranger to this energy that
began last June, its forward motion this month can bring a stronger,
more confident manner. Hiccups in a romantic relationship, with
children, or with creative projects might be experienced in the last
week of the month. It's time to do some backtracking and reassessment

Gemini
You're
in a planning and dreaming stage this month, Gemini. It's a time for
reassessing your goals and formulating new ones. Midway through 2012,
you'll be raring to go, but for now, life is more about getting in
touch with where you are headed! Getting serious about your finances is
necessary and valuable on the 12-16th, when your instincts for what
needs to be done are on the mark. You're especially able to magnetize
positive things your way on a professional level. However, home life
requires more of your attention this month.

Close
relationships receive top billing this month, Cancer, and you are at
your most accommodating and attentive. Strong focus is on your social
life and a significant relationship. A personal revelation or

strong, but by the last week of the month, you could be second-guessing

begin the new year feeling energetic and on top of your game, Virgo.

bit of a nosedive in the last week of January, however, when you could

begin the year with much going on with family and around the home,
Libra. You're making new connections in January, but you are also

January, some revisions in a close partnership may need to be made.

the year begins for you, Scorpio. A close partnership can feel easy and
