Hi Friends,
What
a change of pace this month will be as Mercury is no longer retrograde.
We start off the month with a New Moon in Taurus. This new moon is powerful in many ways. Frequently,
it is a time of hope and desires; hence it is also a time to evaluate
if your aspirations are universally attainable. Examining
the values of wants it may be advisable to make sure they have no bias
and selfness and if so they will be granted.

At the same time there is a
high chance that there will be confusion between the needs and wants. Understanding
the needs will always take priority over the wants through this new
moon. By mid-month Mercury, Venus and Mars join the the Sun in Taurus.
Taurus is the natural ruler of the second house of money, possessions
and self image. Planets in Taurus move slower, but it is a fixed sign
meaning intent is stronger. Find the vision that you wish to create.
There is absolute calmness in the air and perhaps there is a need to
avoid adversaries. But there is an indication that avoiding
confrontation clearly discredits who you are or what you believe in,
then there is an absolute need to defend the position which is
righteously yours. The need to have tranquil surrounding will be very
strong this month. Perhaps even the tone of your voice from
assertive or aggressive may change to more calming and
understanding. Through this process a voice will carry a tune
which is melodious and surprisingly bring out the musical talents which
were never discovered before. While the energy and pace may slow down,
it is the final finish that counts the most

5/2 -New Moon in Taurus
This months new moon takes place in sensual Taurus. The Sun and Moon aspect Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Libra
creating a very earthy… and interesting situation. For one thing, Taurus and Libra are Venus-ruled. Venus is in the
fighting sign of Aries and very well fortified by Mercury, Mars and
Jupiter in conjunction. This sets up a love and war situation, ripe for
stories to say the least. As for setting an intention, April will have been a tumultuous month.
In the aftermath this new moon will offer a chance to make a solid
commitment with love as a base. Think of it like putting a solid oak
cabinet down somewhere in your life.
5/17– Full
Moon in Scorpio
The focus of this full Moon shifts to Taurus after weeks of Aryan
emphasis as Mercury, Venus and Mars are all conjoined in early Taurus.
After venturing out of our comfort zone during an eventful beginning of
Spring we’re drawn back to the comfort of our nurturing and sacred
space. This is Venus energy were we reach for our comforts and our home
in search of nesting and nurturing. The Moon in Scorpio is intense
emotions which draw us within for our earthy connection with the Sun in
Taurus. This full Moon squares Neptune in Pisces forming another
t-square urging towards the ideals of compassion and love.

5/11- Mars enters Taurus
With the igniting planet Mars now settling into Taurus, we're
motivated by practicalities and a desire to partake of the season's
pleasures. This also mellows the brooding edginess that many have felt,
with Mars
in Aries. With so much uncertainty, it's frustrating
not to know what to invest time and energy into these days. What will
bear fruit in this faltering economy? The calm and steady way of Taurus can be directed toward greater
self-reliance. Thinking in practical terms, we can ask, "What do people
need?" to come up with new ideas for income streams. What has real
value? And what can we draw to us that will grow into something
abundant and lush....like a garden. Without panicking, we can quietly
and sensibly prepare for what could be hard times ahead.
5/15- Mercury enters Taurus
When Mercury is in Taurus, the mind slows down to take in sensory
perceptions. Those with this fixed earth Mercury in the natal chart
build up impressions carefully. They speak slowly, often choosing each
word like a mason chooses bricks for a foundation. What this Mercury
loses in speed, is made up for in thoroughness. They want a solid
grounding in what they're experiencing -- often in a hands-on way -- as
they shape perceptions.
This Mercury likes to learn by doing, and to take slow, steady steps
toward a practical goal. Whether it's a solidly constructed building,
song or educational program, they want to see tangible results in the
end. They work best in an unhurried environment where they're not
pressed to make leaps of logic. This Mercury approaches progress with
caution, planning out each step to make sure it's on solid ground.
5/15 - Venus enters Taurus
Venus in Taurus is cuddly. There's a promise of enduring
devotion, as long as you're treated with respect. Our sensuality is
like a deep cave that others get to enter, and while there it's okay to
surrender to just being a physical animal. You may surprise loved ones
with a sentimental gift every now and then. In between, you'll give in a
thousand little ways that make life more pleasurable. Our nature calls for patient companions that let a friendship or

5/21 - Sun enters Gemini
The Sun is now moving through Gemini casting the solar light through the prism of this chameleon-like air sign.
Gemini is light and social, and when it hits just right, can make the
weekly staff meeting feel like a cocktail party. Gemini collects
tidbits, never alighting for too long in one spot, juggling disparate
ideas in an entertaining spectacle that makes the kid in everyone clap

likely to clear up by mid-month. Love opportunities increase
dramatically from the 19th forward.
