Happy New Year Friends,
The year gets off to an exciting start as Jupiter makes its third and
final conjunction to shocking Uranus on the 4th. This union in
imaginative Pisces can spark intuitive insights, perhaps even a
spiritual awakening, yet could also provoke us to jump to conclusions.
On the same day we a have a powerful Solar Eclipse in authoritative
Capricorn which will be joined by aggressive Mars and squaring
restrictive Saturn.

This alignment represents a potential loss of
status or change to a person's position, especially for leaders in high
places such as politicians or large corporations. This eclipse will
demand discipline and could slow or even stop the advance of overly
ambitious individuals. On the 22nd Jupiter enters Aries once again. Aries
is a Fire sign. With a Fire sign Jupiter, we identify strongly with our
own opinions, beliefs, and perceptions, and we may take it quite
personally if others disagree with them! This alignment will be
action oriented as we move forward with our personal vision for the
future. A few days later on the 25th, Saturn the task master turns
retrograde until June 14th. During
this Saturn retrograde we will be dealing with karma, limits,
responsibility, long term goals and accomplishments that will

1/4 -New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Capricorn
The moon has been at its darkest point and will
now begin to show light. That is why this solar eclipse can bring
something new into our lives. It is about planting new seeds, laying a
foundation (especially true for a Capricorn eclipse) and reaching
toward new goals and experiences. While a lunar eclipse is often quite
emotional, a solar eclipse is more goal oriented (think Sun energy) and
puts us into a “let’s get on with it” mood. This new moon solar eclipse
will start us off on the right foot, looking to initiate anything and
everything that will propel us forward. 1/19– Full
Moon in Cancer
This full moon will be at the degree of Cancer.The Moon is
the ruler of the sign of Cancer and so it is happy and at home here,
and is about to enter into the sign of Leo ruled by the Sun. As the
energy of the Moon moves into Leo, it is reminding us that the
environment we have surrounded ourselves with and that which is
nourishing us, is the key to our happiness and success. We must
question ourselves that what we are working towards is what we really
want? If we have any thoughts and doubts, we need to rethink,
reevaluate and rework the matter at hand.

1/7- Venus enters Sagittarius
Venus in Sagittarius lets us soar beyond narrow, fearful relating, to
encounter others as new friends, until they prove otherwise. It's a
time that favors meeting people whose life opens you up to a whole
world of experience, because they're so different. Venus here inspires
social curiosity, and friendly flirting, and what begins as light and
fun now can deepen later. Fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) feel
their oats, during this transit, and this makes the sparks fly in
relationships, or ignites a creative project.
1/13- Mercury enters
Capricorn
Mercury in Capricorn has the patience to stick with one subject, and
become an authority in their field. We become resourceful and
discriminating, and channel our brainpower into just the activities and
people that further our goals. This Mercury isn't a fan of idle chit
chat. There's communication that favors self-control, and conversations
that are directed toward a purpose. At times it comes across as serious
thinking and we may find it hard to mix and mingle.
1/15 - Mars enters Aquarius
This period could bring busy expansion of green industries and
people finding unusual ways of adapting to the changing times. Mars is
titillated by cool glamor, eccentricity, and those who speak their
minds. Expect to see shocking behavior, as the true weirdness we all
have inside becomes the fuel for strange behavior. Some of it may be
innovative, and awaken us to a broader sense of what's possible.
1/20 - Sun enters Aquarius
Sun in Aquarius invites a sense that "anything is possible." Unexpected
solutions or opportunities could come out of the blue. In such an
uncertain time, having your psychic antennae clear is very important.
This is a month when you may get intuitive hits that show you pathways
that weren't in your sight line before. You can strengthen that
connection, as a conduit between heaven and earth, by staying clear of too many frequencies.
1/22 - Jupiter enters Aries
We make our own opportunities when Jupiter enters Aries, and we are at our best
when we are thinking in big terms, taking calculated risks, and displaying
confidence. More specifically with Jupiter in Aries, we attract the most
good fortune when we take the lead, initiate, inspire others, and demonstrate
enthusiasm and courage. Prosperous areas are ones that allow us to head and
lead, and to innovate. Faith in ourselves can bring about positive circumstances or
good "luck".
1/25 - Saturn goes Retrograde
Once a year the planet Saturn goes into retrograde for about
four-and-a-half months. During this influence, you will probably find it
unwise to attempt sudden changes or to rush through things. Take
practical steps and accept limitations while you take serious steps
toward your long term goals. Saturn retrograde can cause you to become
your own hardest taskmaster, limit your actions or leave you feeling
blocked and pessimistic.

Aries
January is a month for really applying your energy constructively, Aries.
You are focused on what matters and what is useful -- it's more about practical
matters just now. A lot of emphasis on your career or reputation this month
suggests an ambitious period of your life. Nevertheless, it's also a time of an
increasing desire for personal freedom. You'll find that you're pulled in a few
directions this month, but the underlying theme is change. You know that in
order to grow, you need to expand your reach and push the normal boundaries.
2011 will be a year of tremendous inner changes. Many of you will make dramatic
outer changes as a reflection of your inner need for bigger experiences. This
month, however, there's a lot of work to do. It's an excellent period for
gaining more control over your career and for proving yourself competent.

Taurus
The desire for a break from your usual routine is powerful this month,
Taurus. Travel,
higher education, or other mind-expanding experiences are on your mind, and
opportunities to do so very likely to arise. At the same time, challenges are
thrown your way, likely revolving around work and daily responsibilities, and
you'll have to maneuver things around in order to realize your goals. New
opportunities and experiences are expected to come through or with friends and
group associations. It's a strong month for clearing up matters related to
shared finances or other forms of support, which have been a headache recently.
Do whatever you can to sort out this part of your life. Finances this month look
solid in general - money worries are dissipating.

Relationship dynamics and negotiations are much improved this month,
Gemini. Nevertheless, there is much activity and concern in the areas of shared
finances, emotional and financial support, and intimate matters. It's an
excellent period for resolving to clear up debts and for getting started on a
new and improved financial plan. Your emotional life is likely to be quite
tricky this month. Buried anger or resentment can have a way of emerging when
least expected. Manage all of these matters fearlessly rather than sweeping
problems under the carpet in January. Career matters can take an interesting and
stimulating turn this month. Be ready to seize opportunities.

Cancer
Your
willingness to adapt to changing situations is your major key to success this month,
Cancer. This is not to say that you don't have any say in what happens to you -
it just means that January is a month for other people in your life to take
center stage. You need others' cooperation in order to achieve your goals. Close
relationships and partnerships are fired up and demanding. Changes are a must.
Love requires work and heaps of understanding this month. Work is improving and
possibly even exciting this month. It's a good time to complete projects that
you've recently had difficulties finishing. Important connections can be
made, and possibly travel opportunities can come, through your work.

Leo
January is a big month for work and health, Leo. These areas of life are
stimulated every year at this time, but even more so in 2011. It's certainly
time for health resolutions, but if you can break the tradition of making them
on the first of the month, wait until mid-month. Challenging conditions in your
work environment are likely to come to a head in January, motivating you to take
charge of this area of life. Changes are a necessity. Love is sweet, exciting,
and a bit surreal this month. You've learned much about your intimate life
through trial and error recently, and now you're in a much wiser position.
You're entering a cycle, lasting until June, of decreased stress and increased
bravery.

Improved decision making regarding home and family is with you this month,
Virgo. Those of you considering moving or renovating can more easily come to a
decision and an agreement with others. An opportunity to partner can arise
rather suddenly this month. You might also get the chance to work from home.
While discipline is required when it comes to managing your income, increased
benefits can come through others now and until June. Changes are necessary in a
romantic relationship or with children this month. You are reorganizing this
area of life and taking charge. Those of you in creative lines of work might
land a new project that is demanding but fulfilling.

In 2011, big changes are in the works when it comes to your domestic life, Libra, and
this month, the need for these changes becomes clear. Whether it's a move, major
renovations, changes in living conditions or in family dynamics, it's time to

Now is the time to make your life what you want it to be, Scorpio. January
is a strong month for personal magnetism and appeal, improved finances, and a

electric, forward-looking Uranus and later enters the fiery sign of Aries this

the confidence to do it. With Venus in your sign from the 7th, love finds you.

clearer about what and who you want. Financial affairs are once again in focus
in January. You may be ready to commit to the money-making ideas that you've
been pondering recently. It's time to take charge of your finances and to

You're in charge once again this month, Capricorn, and ready to make
ground-breaking changes. Your ability to stand alone is tested, and your

While January is likely to begin quietly for you Aquarius - you are a little more private
and withdrawn right now - decisiveness, energy, and confidence return as the
month progresses, As well, there is much to learn from solitude
and increased rest. It's a time of great intuition - of sorting out recent
experiences and realigning your personal goals. Friends and associates play an
important role in your life this month, and it would be wise to give or share
something of yourself and to offer your expertise voluntarily. Benefits, both
spiritual and material, can come through these activities and through
cooperation as a team member. In coming months, you'll be connecting and
communicating a whole lot more, and thoroughly enjoying yourself in the process.

Increased contact with friends and involvement with groups
are inevitable this month, Pisces, and while there can be some challenges
or upsets, you'll certainly be discovering which connections are authentic and
which ones may need to be left behind. You are on a path of self-discovery
through the people you align yourself with. Authenticity is more important to
you than ever before. January also brings improved communications on the job and
a new focus on expanding your material resources. It's a good time for working
